Hendrix Guitar, Beatles Contract and Elvis Gun Permit Sold at Auction

The Fender Stratocaster that Jimi Hendrix burned onstage after a show in London's Finsbury Astoria in March 1967 just sold at auction for about half a million dollars. A contract signed by the Beatles that helped lauch their careers also sold, as did Elvis's concealed firearm permit application. There's more information here.
