Porta-Potties in Townsend

The Daily Times is reporting that local residents have complained to authorities about the Townsend mayor's porta-potty business, which is visible as you enter town coming up from Maryville past Kinzel Springs. It seems like a no-brainer to say that mountain community like Townsend should have a better sight to welcome visitors to town than a bunch of portable toilets, but the other side of that is that a town needs to cultivate its businesses because they produce tax revenue and bring money into the local ecomony. The tricky part is controlling the growth.
